Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility matters to us. We support our community through education, sport, and the arts, and we’re committed to helping nurture future talent, whilst contributing positively beyond the buildings we create.

  • CyanLines

We’re proud to be supporting the CyanLines mega project – a 100 mile plus network connecting and improving Manchester city centre’s parks, squares, rivers, canals and viaducts.

This ambitious city-wide initiative will transform how people experience Manchester’s green and natural spaces, unlocking a huge pipeline of opportunities. From major interventions like the future phases of National Trust Castlefield Viaduct and the idea of a new walkway across the River Irwell.

The first CyanLines routes already link together some of Manchester’s best-known spots – including Mayfield, New Islington Marina Park, Castlefield Viaduct, the Canal Basin, Symphony Park, Kampus and Ancoats Green – with lesser known pocket parks, canal towpaths, pedestrian walkways and future spaces such as the Science Museum courtyard, Central Retail Park, Victoria North, Holt Town and the Medieval Quarter.

CyanLines is part of a bold mission to make Manchester greener, healthier and more connected – investing in the future of our communities, our biodiversity, and our quality of life.

  • Championing Future Talent

We’re committed to inspiring the next generation of construction professionals. Through our partnership with Class of Your Own – creators of the award-winning ‘Design Engineer Construct!’ learning programme – we proudly co-adopt Didsbury High School to promote careers in Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying.

By offering site visits, mentoring, and hands-on insight into real projects, we help bring the built environment to life for students – both inside and outside the classroom.

“We are so pleased to have the opportunity to be working with Renaker. Having industry professionals visit the school to work with our students is invaluable. It hugely enhances students’ experiences as it allows them to learn from, and to be inspired by the experts.”

  • Charity & Fundraising

We host annual Macmillan Coffee Mornings across our head office and sites. Our 2025 event raised £2,000 to help people and families affected by cancer.

We’re proud to have raised a combined total of over £14,000 for Macmillan over the past eight years, with the event remaining an important date in our annual calendar.

  • Community & Culture

We’re proud to sponsor Trafford FC Under 9s and the Greater Manchester U14s football team, helping to support youth sport and nurture local talent.

We’ve also supported Z-arts, a dedicated arts centre for children and young people based in Hulme, Manchester city centre. The centre engages around 100,000 people each year through its outreach programmes and offers outstanding on-site facilities, including a 230-seat theatre, exhibition gallery, recording studio, and music and dance studios.
